PURPOSE
We are building a rapid deployment emergency pool to strengthen responses for Ebola and VHF outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and other affected or at-risk countries. We are looking for different profiles, as we expect our teams to rapidly grow. We are looking for professionals willing to go into DRC.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Availability: Available for deployment within the next 3 months for your first rotation of 6–8 weeks, followed by a mandatory 21-day post-deployment monitoring period.
- Priority Profiles: Medical Profiles, Paramedical Profile and WaSH/ WatSan (Water, Hygiene and Sanitation) specialists.
- Language: Mandatory fluency in both French and English.
- Schengen visa: The Ebola Response applicants must have a valid Schengen visa / valid Schengen area residence or holding a passport that does not require a Schengen visa to travel to Europe. This is to facilitate travel to Europe for the “monitoring period”.
Mandatory Experiences:
- For the Ebola Response: Experience in Ebola response.
- For other Emergency Responses: For the non-Ebola experience; Mandatory extensive experience with VHF, disease outbreak, or other emergency response.
